wanted to make this a pleasant experience. The default background is a rich parchment with four lightness levels. It is resizable for your comfort and can even display the text with whatever font on your computer you want to set it for. It also remembers where you left off and reopens a file in the same place you closed it in. You can use it for ANY text file so it's uses go beyond mere literature.

Simon has some other really incredible programs he's written at his website . One I like particularly is "Yread". This program will load any ASCII text file and read it to you in either of three adjustable voices. I found it quite useful and fun. Enjoy the experience and save on "Visine"®.
